Five Days from Home on the CD!!!

Okay, the boom of release of the Conti's score continues :-) Now Intrada released the score from Five Days from Home, which was previously released only on LP. The CD containts about 18 minuts more then the LP. More information on Discography.

And yet a note - La La Land Records just has notified that the score from I, the Jury will be released soon. Therefore, we have to look forward to!!!

Score from The Fourth War now relased!!!

Music Box Records make all Contis fans very happy, because they just released the score from The Fourth War as limited collectors edition of 1000 copies. More information in Discography.

Score from the Bad Boys finally released!!!

It took a long time, but the Conti's score from the Bad Boys (1983) is finally officially released! It was released by Intrada, which released this score in label Intrada Special Collection as vol. 239. You can find more information about this soundtrack in Discography section.

On the Archive of American Television website you can find a great video with interview with B. Conti about conducting the Oscars (Academy Awards) and some topic about composing the music for Falcon Crest, Cagney and Lacey tv series and for Rocky and For You Eyes Only movies.

Bill Conti named principal pops conductor of the San Diego Symphony

Conti is the San Diego Symphony?s new principal pops conductor, succeeding the late Marvin Hamlisch. He recently agreed to a three-year contract in which each season he?ll conduct the opening concert of the orchestra?s Summer Pops and two concerts in its City Lights series at Copley Symphony Hall. Beat Records is just releasing an expanded version of the Conti's score from Mademoiselle de Sade e i suoi Vizi (1968). This is a work from Conti's earliest formation of his career. More information in the Discography section.

News on the website

I'm back with a few updates after some time. First the Intrada released complete (!!!) score from Masters of the Universe. Yes, you read right. It's basically the same release as from La La Land Records (LLL) from 2008, just only on 1 CD. So for those who haven't the release from LLL is this Intrada release certain solace. For the rest of us is this release useless. Moreover the total time of Intrada release is about cca 2 minuts shorter than from LLL. You can find more information in Discography section.
And other update is in Media - Photos section, where one new photo of Bill Conti from LSU concertu was added, and other update is in Links section, where the link to a article about B. Conti, who served as keynote speaker for the LSU College of Music & Dramatic Arts? spring 2012 commencement exercises was added.
